♪ Wag na Wag Mong Sasabihin (Kitchie Nadal, 2004) ♪

Kitchie Nadal was far from kitsch when she flew away from Mojofly. A singer-songwriter like her could make it big alone, which she did bit by bit, with four hit singles from her debut, especially that time when Barbie Almalbis was also out of her cradle, and when both of them had managed to amass followers with their pretty looks and rakista appeal. “Wag na Wag mong Sasabihin” skyrocketed Kitchie to fame: a fine example of musical domino effect. When radio stations started playing it, TV absorbed it too, and it’s everywhere like street litter, even more so when it was used as theme song for the hit koreanovela Lovers in Paris. And that nailed it like hell. Maudlin trinket, homemade auto-tune, Onemig Bondoc in the video: that’s musical recipe for you.
