If there is one song that could encapsulate the feeling of falling in love for every person, then this is definitely the song for me.

“Take It From Me” by The Weepies is unabashedly filled with in-your-face giddiness it just might melt any cynic’s hardening heart.

The Weepies is comprised of Deb Talan and Steve Tannen, independent musicians who met in a show, started making beautiful music together, and eventually got married.

In this gushfest of a song, Deb Talan waxes poetic about her love being the moon, a rising smile, spring, and even her favorite pair of shoes—sounding so happily lovestruck you can almost hear the smile in her lilt.

Folksy pop without too much drama, perfect as a soundtrack to a budding romance, this here is a nifty addition to your Valentine’s Day playlist.
